Your Voice for Every Student.

Your Voice for Every Student.

Why am I running

Why am I running

Why am I running

I came to Canada from Sierra Leone in Grade 9 and experienced first-hand what it means to enter a new school system. Today, as a father of three, I believe every student deserves to feel supported, included, and valued - and every family deserves to feel informed and heard.

I want to listen to families and educators, connect schools with the communities they serve, and collaborate on practical solutions that put students first.

Supporting Student Achievement

Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. I will support strong literacy and numeracy, early intervention, and the resources students and educators need to thrive.

I also believe attendance, engagement and well-being are essential to learning. As trustee, I will listen to students, families and educators, ask the right questions, and advocate for the resources, supports and accountability needed to help every student reach their potential.

Supporting Teachers & School Staff

Supporting Teachers & School Staff

Supporting Teachers & School Staff

Teachers and school staff are essential partners in student success. When we support educators, we support students.

I will listen to educators, respect their professional experience, and collaborate with them, administration, families and fellow trustees to advocate for appropriate classroom resources, professional development, strong student services and safe, supportive learning environments.

Educators should feel heard, supported and respected, while keeping student success at the centre of our decisions.
